About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our care team as a General Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents, while meeting regulatory requirements and business performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred care to residents in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care, person-centred care, and ensure residents receive care based on best practice.
  • Be responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the care home.
  • Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in resident's wellbeing.
  • Ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
  • Provide on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
  • Ensure costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
  • Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
  • Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
