Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the electrical and electronics manufacturing sector. Your primary focus will be on targeting businesses involved in the design and manufacture of equipment used in the generation of renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue expansion
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the electrical and electronics manufacturing sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies
- Provide market insights and trend analysis to inform business decisions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Development or Sales role within a technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing business
- Proven track record of negotiating large-volume contracts
- Experience in after-sales services, including maintenance contracts and servicing
- Strong understanding of current market trends and challenges
- Experience working across the EMEA region, with APAC region experience an advantage
- Experience working with supply chain and procurement teams

Travel Requirements:
This role will require monthly travel commitments to Western Europe, with occasional travel to Eastern and Nordic regions.
