NQ Solicitor - Fitness to Practise Role

Grist Legal Recruitment is seeking an NQ Solicitor to join our team in a Fitness to Practise Associate Solicitor role. The successful candidate will be part of a team acting for Regulator clients prosecuting Fitness to Practise cases.

The role will involve managing an investigatory caseload with assistance from Paralegals. The work will be varied and often technically challenging, handling alleged impaired Fitness to Practise cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of case plans
  • Corresponding with the defence
  • Interviewing key witnesses
  • Preparing instructions to counsel
  • Attending conferences with counsel
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and commercially minded, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in teams. Whilst previous experience in the field of fitness to practise and professional discipline is strongly preferred, it is not essential.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate at interview that they have the necessary skills and experience to excel in this role.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £50,000 to £58,000.
