Job Title: Associate - Construction Solicitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Solicitor to join our Construction Law team in Birmingham or Nottingham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in non-contentious construction work and excellent commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective legal services to clients, focusing on delivering cost-effective solutions.
  • Offer specialist advice in all aspects of building, construction, and engineering work, promoting initiatives in construction law, and providing clear and detailed explanations and advice to clients.
  • Support other areas of the practice as needed and contribute to marketing initiatives such as delivering seminars and writing articles.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in non-contentious construction work and excellent commercial awareness.
  • Ability to provide practical and commercial advice in a straightforward manner, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Good research skills, proficiency in IT and case management systems, and a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to attend marketing and social events.
