Job Title: Associate - Construction Solicitor

Location: Birmingham (and Nottingham)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £62-75,000 DOE

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Solicitor to join our Construction Law team in Birmingham (or Nottingham). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to clients across various sectors, with a focus on non-contentious construction matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide effective legal services to clients, with a focus on delivering cost-effective solutions.
  2. Offer specialist advice in all aspects of building, construction, and engineering work, promoting initiatives in construction law, and providing clear and detailed explanations and advice to clients.
  3. Support other areas of the practice as needed and contribute to marketing initiatives such as delivering seminars and writing articles.

Requirements:

  1. Have a strong background in non-contentious construction work and possess excellent commercial awareness.
  2. Be able to provide practical and commercial advice in a straightforward manner, have strong attention to detail, and be capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  3. Have good research skills, proficiency in IT and case management systems, and a proactive and adaptable mindset are also essential for this position.
  4. Flexibility and a willingness to attend marketing and social events are also important attributes for this role.
