Machine Service Engineer Required

Our client, a leading provider of advanced print finishing and packaging equipment, is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all machinery and equipment is maintained to the highest standards, on and off-site.

This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of capital equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and assistance with machine demonstrations at trade shows and customer events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and onsite technical service support, including installation, maintenance, and repair of print finishing and packaging machinery.
  • Conduct machinery demonstrations and installations, and deliver training to customers and partners.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software faults with minimal downtime.
  • Build strong customer relationships, delivering a first-class service experience.
  • Engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven experience working with capital equipment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.

What We Offer:

  • Salary £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE).
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
