Job Title: Head of Credit Risk

THC Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Credit Risk to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a risk management strategy that balances commercial aims with risk mitigation.
  • Establish and enforce risk policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to communicate risk tolerance and risk appetite across the organization.
  • Oversee the underwriting process to ensure thorough evaluation and assessment of loan applications.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in risk management, with a deep understanding of credit profiles and underwriting.
  • Ability to run a team of underwriters and build and maintain complex credit scorecards.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
