About the Role

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented and experienced Oral Medicine Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist secondary and tertiary Oral Medicine services for adults and children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake outpatient clinics, new and follow-ups, with supervision of junior staff as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with dental and medical colleagues in other specialties and participate in regular clinical meetings and other postgraduate activities.
  • Develop and maintain good communication with General dental practitioners, colleagues in the salaried dental services, and local orthodontic specialist practitioners.
  • Active involvement in Audit, Clinical Governance, morbidity and mortality meetings.
  • Participation in the departmental educational activity.
  • Share responsibility for data protection, particularly digital and electronic records.
  • Ensure good clinical practice and continued professional development.
