About the Role


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caring Professional to join our team as a Night Support Worker in our supported living services. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, providing personalized support and care in a dynamic and challenging environment.


Job Overview


As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our service users, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our teams to develop and implement tailored support plans, promoting independence, autonomy, and choice.


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities, including medication management and manual handling
  • Assist with food preparation and mealtime support, promoting healthy eating habits and independence
  • Engage in activities that promote social inclusion, leisure, and recreation, such as outings, hobbies, and community participation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and carers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to data protection and confidentiality guidelines
  • Participate in training and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of our service users

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • A passion for working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships
  • Physical stamina to perform manual handling tasks and respond to emergencies
  • Able to work flexibly, including night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering person-centered care and support
  • Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new technologies
