Mental Health Crisis Team Member

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro-rata)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our crisis team in the West Midlands.

This is a vital role focused on supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises, exploring alternative strategies to reduce urgent care attendances and admissions.

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals in crisis.
  • Collaborate with service users to develop tailored strategies for managing distress and reducing reliance on urgent care services.
  • Conduct assessments and interventions in community settings.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Support service users in accessing appropriate resources and services to promote recovery and well-being.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: Significant experience working in a community mental health setting, particularly with individuals in crisis.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of mental health crises and strategies to prevent frequent urgent care attendance or hospital admissions.
  • Qualifications: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
