**Premises Management Opportunity**

We are seeking a Premises Management Specialist to join our Department of Human Resources team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our school premises, ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.

This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, all year round.

You will work closely with the Head of School, Senior Leadership Team, and Chief Estates Officer to oversee school site maintenance, supervise the Site Team, and maintain the security of the premises.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or equivalent), experience of working as a handyperson, caretaker, or site-keeper within a school or similar environment, and a full UK driving licence.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Undertake a variety of duties relating to the maintenance of the buildings and grounds
  • Promote the health and safety of all staff, pupils, and visitors
  • Be diligent and self-motivated in overseeing school site maintenance
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements and keep up to date with changes to legislation
  • Supervise and direct the Site Team (caretakers) across both sites; driving is essential for this role
  • Maintain the security of the premises, working closely with the Headteacher
  • Have a flexible approach and the ability to use initiative
  • Possess excellent communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative staff team
