Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Delve Search - Global Search Consultants. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for providing mechanical assembly, disassembly, and testing on a range of bespoke technical machinery.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work within a mixed engineering team to build structural components from engineering drawings at our client's HQ in Cheshire. You will also support some of the installs on customer sites as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test mechanical components from engineering drawings
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery as required
- Support installs on customer sites
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Competent to read engineering drawings
- Experience with mechanical assembly and fitting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Proven bench work experience and own tools
- Pneumatics experience beneficial
- Team player mentality and strong ethic towards health and safety
