Job Title: Bushcraft and Adventure Activity Coordinator

Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire

Salary: £23,000-£29,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic coordinator to join our Ultimate Survival team, leading our bushcraft and adventure activity programmes during the summer holidays. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging outdoor activities, managing a team of instructors, and ensuring the overall success of the camp.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver bushcraft and adventure activities for children aged 7-14, focusing on participation, skill development, and enjoyment.
  • Supervise and support a team of instructors, ensuring they deliver high-quality activities and maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Coordinate logistics and resources for activities, including equipment, transportation, and facilities.
  • Monitor and evaluate activity effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding activity details, safety procedures, and any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in outdoor education, bushcraft, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a summer camp or outdoor education environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Knowledge of bushcraft activities and ability to teach and demonstrate skills safely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
