Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at the Royal Derby Hospital. The successful candidate will work within our Hand Day Case Unit, providing high-quality patient care across various hand surgery specialties.

About the Role

The Theatre Practitioner will be responsible for delivering exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing hand surgery procedures. This includes working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre environment.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and extend your skills in hand surgery, trauma, microvascular, and plastic surgery. You will also be expected to maintain your professional development within the scope of your individual appraisal and according to service needs.

Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration
  • Theatre experience
  • Experience of hand surgery (training provided if necessary)
