Apprenticeship Opportunity:
We are offering an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for a Power Engineering Cable Jointer to join our UK Energy Infrastructure Solutions business.
About the Apprenticeship:
This apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in power engineering cable jointing. You will be working on site-based environments including public highway and construction sites, and will have the chance to gain valuable experience with a major energy solutions company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of power distribution systems.
- Work collaboratively with experienced professionals and mentors to develop your skills and knowledge.
- Attend block release training programs to gain formal qualifications including courses on cable jointing and live electrical connections.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C / 9-4 (or equivalent) including Maths, English Language and Science.
- A strong interest in electrical engineering and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work safely and follow PPE requirements.
What We Offer:
- A salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum.
