Key Responsibilities

As a Medicines Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our medicines management pharmacy technician service.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in hospital pharmacy practice and be registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). They will also possess an accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification or be willing to achieve it within 12 months of commencement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development of our medicines management pharmacy technician service.

Person Specification
  • NVQ Level 3 plus accredited underpinning knowledge (BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent).
  • Registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification (or to be achieved within 12 months of commencement).
