We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Dream Medical in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
This role will support the General Practitioner (GP) team by completing administrative tasks, conducting basic clinical duties, and ensuring clinical compliance and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient records, performing routine medical procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. They will also work closely with the GP team to ensure seamless delivery of care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks such as data entry, appointment scheduling, and billing.
- Clinical Duties: Conduct basic clinical duties such as vital sign monitoring, ECGs, phlebotomy, immunizations, and wound care.
- Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in a medical setting or reception role.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
