Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Year 4 students.
  2. Employ innovative teaching methods to engage students and foster a love for learning.
  3. Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, providing actionable feedback and setting achievable targets.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to create comprehensive curriculum materials and share expertise.
  5. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, empathy, and teamwork.
  6. Establish open communication channels with parents/guardians, keeping them informed about student progress and addressing any concerns.
  7. Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events as required.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching Year 4 students in a primary school setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to tailor instruction to meet individual students' needs.
  • Committed to ongoing professional growth and staying current with educational best practices.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000, commensurate with experience.
