Hybrid: 3 days in the office

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Senior Executive responsible for International Government Affairs and ESG policy. This role will provide a unique opportunity to work with senior executives and policy makers, and to develop knowledge of international government affairs and ESG policy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Diary management, including organizing internal/external meetings and conference calls
  • Admin assistance for all expenses and admin needs to support the Brussels, London, Paris and Milan office
  • Develop knowledge of managers' contacts in the public policy space internally and externally (politicians and regulators in Europe)
  • Admin associated with team changes and on-boarding
  • Integrate with the broader ESG, Capital Deployment and Communication and Marketing teams and activities
  • Provide ad hoc support for the organization of key events (e.g. World Economic Forum or other Public Policy /Marketing activities)
  • Booking and making all necessary arrangements for business travel
The Team:
  • The team consists of 3 SVP, 3 VP, so a relatively small and very international and polyglot team, based in several locations in Europe and internationally
  • This role will provide a lot of exposure to senior executives inside and outside the bank. A lot of exposure with US executives and Exco members in EMEA.
  • Exposure to private offices of Governors of Central banks, national and EU politicians, Ministers, EU officials is also part of the role.
Core Skills:
  • Experience or ability to interact with senior stakeholders inside and outside the bank including government officials and foreign ambassadors.
  • Comfortable with processing expenses and dealing with contractors and external vendors.
  • Excellent PC skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience with Concur and Ariba systems.
  • Knowledge of English and Italian is required - other European languages would be an asset.
  • Interest in International politics or ESG would be an asset.
  • Proactive style and ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
