At Bruin, a leading Pension Consultancy, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Senior Pension Administrator to join us.
The ideal candidate will have strong Defined Benefit Pension Knowledge and the ability to maintain accurate member records, process member events, and provide technical guidance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating member records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Processing member events such as retirements, deaths, early leavers, transfers in and out, and illustrative quotations.
- Serving as a point of reference on technical issues and non-standard cases, escalating complex queries to the Team Leader and technical support team.
- Preparing and checking manual and computer-generated benefit calculations and related correspondence.
- Maintaining pension administration databases, preparing benefit calculations, and creating related correspondence.
- Peer reviewing and checking processed member and scheme events by less experienced administrators to ensure compliance with scheme rules and legislation.
- Attending trustee or client meetings, providing support and guidance on scheme events and project-related administration issues.
- Staying up-to-date with technical and scheme changes to provide expert advice.
This is a fantastic opportunity with long-term career prospects; full training will be provided in all aspects of the role.
We estimate the salary range for this position to be between £35,000 - £50,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
