Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs
  • Supervise students during activities and breaks
  • Assess and record student progress
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
  • First Aid certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in special educational needs support
  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom environment, providing support to teachers and students. The hours are full-time, and the role may involve some flexibility in working hours based on school requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
