Internal Sales Person Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven individual to join our team as an Internal Sales Person. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our key customers, managing a live portfolio of current customers, and proactively targeting and developing new customers into profitable accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to key customers over the phone, face-to-face in branch, or via email to drive customer loyalty.
  • Manage a live portfolio of current customers, understanding individual client requirements, building rapport, and growing your client portfolio.
  • Proactively target and develop new customers into profitable accounts, identifying sales opportunities and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Support the wider branch team, serving on the Trade Counter and picking and packing products in our warehouse to ensure customers' orders are completed on time.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a highly competitive or target-driven customer-focused role (B2B, B2C, retail/hospitality).
  • Electrical product knowledge is advantageous.
  • A flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
  • An ability to recognize sales opportunities and implement effective sales strategies.
