Deaf Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Deaf Education Specialist to join our dynamic team in Newham. This full-time role covers Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and offers a competitive pay scale of £36,745 - £56,959 FTE, plus an additional SEN2 allowance of £3,774 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement inclusive education programs for deaf pupils, ensuring they receive the best support and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Newham to promote collaborative working and support the needs of deaf students.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their understanding of deaf education and promote inclusive practices.
- Work closely with SLT to develop and implement strategies to support the needs of deaf students and promote inclusive education.
- Support from SLT and opportunities for CPD.
- The opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment with other Deaf Education Specialists within Newham.
