Deaf Education Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Deaf Education Specialist to join our dynamic team in Newham. This full-time role covers Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and offers a competitive pay scale of £36,745 - £56,959 FTE, plus an additional SEN2 allowance of £3,774 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inclusive education programs for deaf pupils, ensuring they receive the best support and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Newham to promote collaborative working and support the needs of deaf students.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their understanding of deaf education and promote inclusive practices.
  • Work closely with SLT to develop and implement strategies to support the needs of deaf students and promote inclusive education.
