Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEN Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Newham Primary School, a specialist SEN school for Autism (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have complex learning difficulties and require additional support to develop their communication skills.

About the Role:
  • Support students with complex learning difficulties in a small class setting
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students to help them manage their behavior
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and feeding
Requirements:
  • Recent UK TA experience
  • NVQ L2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools
  • GCSE Maths & English grades A-C
  • Experience supporting learners with autism and complex learning difficulties
  • Good BM Skills
