About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Royal Stoke University Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor CCTV and access control systems to ensure the security of the hospital
  • Respond to incidents and activations in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and patients
  • Conduct regular patrols of the hospital to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of security techniques and procedures
  • SIA license
