We are currently seeking an experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team, working in a centre-based setting. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners undertaking Apprenticeship qualifications.
About the Role:- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to learners up to Level 2 in Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Provide additional support to learners with identified learning difficulties and disabilities, tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions, using a range of methods to cater to different learning styles.
- A proven track record as a qualified and experienced Functional Skills Tutor.
- Experience of delivering face-to-face learning in a centre-based setting.
- Holding own Functional Skills in Maths and English / GCSE equivalents.
- The ability to adapt quickly to learners' needs and provide ongoing support.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a passion for teaching and learning.
The salary for this role is estimated at around £32,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this position within our organisation. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
