We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Support Associate to join our team at Winton Community Academy.

The successful candidate will work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) on a one-to-one basis, providing tailored support to help them achieve their academic potential.

With a strong focus on making a positive impact, the role involves working in small groups and on an individual basis, using a range of strategies to engage students and promote learning.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has experience working with students or young people and wants to make a real difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing academic support to students with SEND
  • Developing and implementing tailored learning plans
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and other support teams
  • Maintaining accurate records and progress tracking

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students or young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Salary: £12.85 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only

Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2025

Start Date: Immediate start date
