This esteemed hospital provides comprehensive care services, including medium secure and low secure units for males, as well as an acute wing for both genders.
To be considered for this position, you must possess current registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with mental health conditions and personality disorders.
- Foster therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Comply with all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, promoting ethical practice and respecting patients' rights.
- Contribute to patient assessments, developing comprehensive care plans and monitoring progress.
- At a senior level, lead shifts, provide mentorship, and support student nurses and other team members.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health services.
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
- A positive attitude towards change, improvement, and quality.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
- Understanding of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
- An estimated salary of £40,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours a week.
