About the Role

Crown Heights Medical Centre is a dynamic and forward-thinking healthcare provider seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose, and manage complex patient needs.
  • Provide autonomous practice, taking responsibility for managing patient caseloads, and making referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Conduct specialist assessments, diagnose, and treat patients, including performing diagnostic investigations and interpreting results within agreed protocols.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practice and national guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, including referrals to secondary care organizations and other relevant services.
  • Participate in administrative and professional responsibilities, including maintaining accurate and contemporaneous patient records, and contributing to practice meetings and development plans.
Requirements
  • Essential:
    • BSc in a training program approved by the College of Paramedics.
    • HCPC registration.
    • 2 years' consolidation of learning period as a newly qualified paramedic.
    • 3 years' experience as a Band 6 (or equivalent paramedic).
    • Framework for Higher Education certificate Level 7.
    • Full UK driving license.
  • Desirable:
    • Non-medical prescribing qualification.
