Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to collaborate with our Head of PMO and ensure that projects deliver the required outcomes within the defined quality, time, and cost constraints.

This involves adhering to Card Factory's standard project management methodology and best practices, producing plans, documentation, and guidance for project teams throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with all organizational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Delivery team to ensure effective portfolio delivery
  • Promote best practices in kanbans, backlogs, JIRA, financial reporting, and delivery metrics
  • Support project/programme budget delivery
  • Maintain the PMO as the 'single source of truth' for all projects
  • Embed and coach project control and governance
  • Conduct root cause analysis and log lessons learned
  • Manage cross-programme dependencies
  • Assist with project planning, milestone, scope, resource, financial, and change management
  • Liaise with stakeholders at all levels and prepare regular status reports for all business levels
  • Identify and support initiatives needing additional resources or governance
  • Identify, report, and resolve risks and issues while continuously improving portfolio and delivery processes
  • Manage delivery process systems (Triskell)

About the Role

This is a dynamic role where you will provide analysis to support decision-making, offer guidance on project processes, manage weekly and monthly reporting cycles, and maintain resource and financial controls within your program of work.

  • Deep understanding of PMO, PPM processes, and best practices
  • Extensive experience in the project development life cycle
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
