SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to a student with ADHD, promoting access to the curriculum.
  • Assist in implementing the student's individual education plan, ensuring a tailored approach.
  • Support the student with daily tasks and activities, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Offer emotional support and manage behaviour in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience working within a UK educational setting.
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND within education.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Location: Tamworth

Time: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Pay: £85 - £95 per day
