About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry Group. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, working closely with our site management teams and commercial directors to ensure that our contracts are administered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer main contracts, including processing payments and final account settlements
  • Manage subcontractors, including monthly payments and final account settlements
  • Provide cost reporting and analysis to support business decision-making
  • Work closely with site management teams to ensure that contracts are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize profit and cash flow
  • Monitor and manage risk, including identifying and mitigating potential risks to the business
  • Provide input and cost and value engineering advice throughout the design life of the scheme
  • Ensure compliance with company business management system procedures
Requirements
  • Extensive experience working within the construction industry, with a strong background in quantity surveying
  • Proven track record of administering main contracts and managing subcontractors
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to provide cost reporting and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with site management teams and commercial directors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results
