About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to new build residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage build costs and ensure they are minimized while maintaining quality standards
  • Compile and present tender packages for sub-contract trades
  • Qualify tenders and analyze costs to ensure value for money
  • Coordinate with the build department to achieve project goals
  • Attend site meetings and ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Manage and certify retention releases on completion of developments
  • Complete sub-contract final accounts within 6 months of completion
Requirements
  • HNC/HND in Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a PQS/SQS/Commercial Lead in residential house building
  • Strong mathematical and IT skills
  • Ability to assess and analyze information
  • Good business sense and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
