Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join their team in the Somerset Area.

Estimated salary: £40,000.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently. This will involve performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with colleagues to improve processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Conducting fault finding and repairs on equipment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.

You Will Need:

  • 17th/18th Edition qualification.
  • Heavy industry background experience.
  • HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding.
  • Ability to input data on Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
