Maintenance Engineer - Crewkerne

£40,000 per annum

Job Overview:

A leading UK manufacturer in the Somerset area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs, and maintaining electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Predictive and preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of complex systems
  • Maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Installation and maintenance of electrical and electro-mechanical plant equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • 17th/18th Edition certification
  • Heavy industry background experience
  • HNC/HND in an engineering discipline
  • PLC fault finding experience
  • Ability to input data on Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
