Technical Sales Director Job Description

Futures Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and converting them into sales to meet our company targets for growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Communicate new product propositions to existing and prospective customers
  • Plan, prepare and deliver responses (inclusive of presentations) to existing and prospective customers
  • Produce a monthly sales report covering activity of you and your team
  • Promote and develop corporate image and reputation and contribute to overall business development plan
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and provide the Managing Director with market activity feedback
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience selling SAAS and complex engineered systems
  • Proven track record in a technical sales role within a SAAS / software engineering market sector
  • Excellent proposal presentation skills
  • Confident working in an autonomous leadership role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues at all levels
