Job Summary

Job Title: Lead Program Developer

We are seeking a talented Lead Program Developer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our prototyping team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality prototypes and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the prototyping schedule and integrate it into our master schedule
  • Develop and maintain a prototyping matrix to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Support the development of a framework for prototype delivery from inception to manufacture
  • Report on project status, schedule, risk, and opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional teams and direct reports to achieve project goals

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Professional project management qualification or relevant experience
  • Understanding of lifecycle management and governance frameworks
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management
  • Engineering or manufacturing background with expertise in engineering lifecycle management

Desirable:

  • Understanding of benefits assessments and management methods
  • Experience managing cross-enterprise stakeholders
