Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to ensure the safety and security of contractors, staff, and prisoners during periods of construction work on site. As a Security Escort, you will be responsible for supervising contractors, checking in tools, and patrolling the perimeter and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise contractors while they are working on site
  • Check in contractors and their tools
  • Escort contractors around the prison, ensuring they are never left unsupervised
  • Patrol the perimeter and grounds
  • Perform routine administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Honest, hard-working, and reliable individual
  • Excellent attention to detail and team player
  • No formal qualifications required, but previous experience in security or a similar role is ideal
  • Ability to provide two satisfactory references
  • Indefinite leave to remain in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo security clearance and identity checks

Uniform and Equipment

You will need to provide basic uniform, including black/navy trousers and steel toe-capped footwear. Additional PPE will be provided by the prison/contractors.
