Job Title: Prison Security Escort

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Prison Security Escort at HMP Isle Of Wight. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of contractors, staff, and prisoners during construction work on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Checking in contractors and their tools
  • Searching vehicles and contractors
  • Escorting contractors around the prison, ensuring they are never left unsupervised
  • Supervising contractors while they are working on site
  • Patrolling perimeter and grounds
  • Searching buildings
  • Routine administrative work
Requirements:
  • Honesty, hard work, reliability, and trustworthiness
  • Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills
  • No formal qualifications required, but a background in security or a similar field is ideal
  • Ability to provide 2 satisfactory references and indefinite leave to remain in the UK
  • Willingness to undergo security clearance and identity checks
