Nursery Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our childcare centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all activities and educational tasks are carried out effectively. You will be responsible for the safety and development of the children while fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.

- Create a Safe and Educational Environment: Leverage your experience to ensure children thrive in a secure, fun, and stimulating setting.
- Lead with Enthusiasm: Be a self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic leader who excels under pressure and brings a positive outlook to your team.
- Master the EYFS Framework: Apply your deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to support and enhance children's learning and development.
- Communicate and Inspire: Utilise strong verbal and written communication skills to positively challenge, influence, and coach colleagues while supporting children and parents.
- Manage with Care: Efficiently oversee a varied program of work, manage expectations, balance priorities, and maintain professionalism with sensitive information.
- Foster an Ethical Culture: Model behaviours consistent with ethical practices and our policies, playing a pivotal role in creating an ethical organisational culture.
- Champion Health and Safety: Conduct regular risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide comprehensive health and safety training to your team.
- Engage with Parents: Maintain open communication channels with parents regarding health, safety, and child development matters.
- Embrace Social and Environmental Responsibility: Promote well-being, diversity, inclusion, ethical decision-making, community engagement, and environmental sustainability.
- Commit to Continuous Development: Stay updated with policy changes, expand your knowledge through courses and conferences, and continuously develop professionally.
