Job Overview

The Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Liaison Specialist to join our Psychiatric Liaison Service team. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health assessments and interventions for patients in acute psychiatric states, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients in crisis
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Providing expert mental health advice and support to staff
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of our service's strategic plans
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Current registration with a relevant professional body
  • Experience in crisis assessments and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and policies
