Job Overview

The Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Liaison Specialist to join our Psychiatric Liaison Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing mental health assessments and interventions to patients in acute psychiatric states, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients in crisis
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans to support patients in achieving their mental health goals
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Providing expert mental health advice and support to staff across the trust
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of our service's strategic plans and initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the relevant professional body
  • Experience in crisis assessments and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Strong clinical and risk management skills
