We are seeking an exceptional Governance Professional to join our team at Leigh Academies Trust. As a key member of our governance team, you will work closely with the Head of Administration and Governance to lead and develop our governance function.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Governance Professional to make a significant impact on our organization. You will be responsible for establishing and developing excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including our schools, staff, and community partners.

We are looking for a highly effective and inspirational leader with strong governance experience in an educational setting. You will be passionate about education and have a strong subject knowledge, with the ability to build strong professional relationships and work collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop our governance function, working closely with the Head of Administration and Governance
  • Establish and develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including our schools, staff, and community partners
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to our schools and community partners
  • Develop and implement effective governance policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our governance function
