**Job Summary**

We are seeking an exceptional Governance Professional to join our team at Leigh Academies Trust. As a key member of our governance team, you will work closely with the Head of Administration and Governance to lead and develop our governance function.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including senior leaders, governors, and staff.
  • Lead the governance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective governance practices.
  • Develop and implement governance strategies to drive improvement and innovation across the trust.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.

  • Proven experience in governance, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
