Job Description:

We are seeking a Property Administration Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. As a key member of our property administration team, you will be responsible for dealing with incoming post, drafting reports from precedents, and responding to client and third-party enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year's experience in conveyancing, ideally within a similar role or in a related industry. Strong organisational and administrative skills are essential, as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal with incoming post
  • Draft reports from precedents
  • Respond to client and third-party enquiries
  • Process applications for mortgage funds
  • Prepare completion statements
  • Deal with initial instructions
  • Process client ID checks
  • Post-completion matters such as SDLT returns, HMLRC requirements, sending deeds to lenders.
  • Closing files on case management system

Requirements:

  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Work proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organisational and administrative skills
  • Aptitude for numeracy and verbal/written communication
  • Computer literacy/typing skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Teamwork experience
  • Microsoft package experience
  • Knowledge of conveyancing processes/procedures
  • Conveyancing transaction experience

Compensation:

£28,000 - £35,000 per annum
