Chef Manager Opportunity in Bedford

We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead our catering team in Bedford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our staff and customers while guiding and motivating your team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4 in a fast-paced kitchen environment, serving up to 500 customers daily.
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that meets our clients' expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food handling and hygiene standards.
  • Manage kitchen equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement menu planning and recipe development to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to achieve business objectives and drive results.
Requirements:
  • Previous contract catering experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
  • IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
