Job Title: High Speed Digital Electronics Design Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Electronics Design Specialist to join our team at Leonardo in Edinburgh. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing high-speed digital printed circuit boards that utilize the latest FPGA, microprocessor, and high-speed interconnect technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing high-speed digital printed circuit boards
- Supporting the full hardware lifecycle from requirements analysis to delivery
- Documenting and recording work products
- Working within a multi-disciplined team to solve real integration problems
- Analyzing system-level requirements documents
- Schematic capture and design of high-speed serial communication links
- Hardware, firmware, and software integration of microprocessor-based designs
- Debugging, testing, and verification of new designs
- Liaising with suppliers of key components and assemblies
