Light Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at Halfords, the UK's largest Automotive service, maintenance, and repair business.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, along with time served experience as a mechanic. A full driver's license with no more than 9 points is also essential.
As a Vehicle Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out interim, full, and major vehicle services, as well as any follow-up repair and replacement work. This includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, and suspension, amongst others.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £27,845 per annum, plus an average uncapped bonus of £3,600 per year. Additional benefits include pension scheme and life assurance, as well as GP access and financial planning support.
