About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiochemist to join our team at Kings College London. As a key member of our production and quality control team, you will play a critical role in the development and production of radiopharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new radiopharmaceutical synthesis methods and procedures to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
  • Conduct quality control analysis and testing of radiopharmaceuticals to ensure their safety and efficacy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new radiopharmaceutical products and services.
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members on radiopharmaceutical synthesis and quality control procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in radiopharmaceutical synthesis and quality control, and apply this knowledge to improve our processes and products.
Requirements
  • PhD in Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in radiopharmaceutical synthesis and quality control, with a strong understanding of GMP regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
