Care and Support Worker Job Role

This job involves working as a Secure Transport Support Worker, providing vital care and support to vulnerable individuals, ensuring their safe transportation and well-being.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team, possess excellent communication skills, and have a 'can-do' attitude. Experience of working with challenging behavior is desirable but not essential.

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients. The key responsibilities include providing tailored support to Service Users, working across various services, and completing regular training.

Benefits and Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly rate: £12.00 per hour during probation (£24,960.00 per annum), rising to £13.00 per hour after probation (£27,040.00 per annum).
  • 28 days annual leave pro rata.
  • Birthday off as an extra day holiday (after 1 year's service).
  • Warm and welcoming team.
  • Guaranteed 40 hours minimum pay per week.
  • Minimum of 1% annual increase in salary.
  • Overtime rate at 1.25 when working a day off.
